FRINGILLA

Fringilla is a 34 ft. vintage Van Lent motor yacht, lovingly crafted in 1960 at the distinguished Van Lent & Zonen shipyard. With space for 12 passengers plus crew, she offers a timeless, refined experience on the River Thames.

Boat Features:

Fringilla's stand out feature is her spacious open back deck — an inviting alfresco setting complete with a retractable canopy (for less favourable weather), a dining table, and elegant bench seating. The bow of the boat also features a spacious sundeck, offering another great outdoor spot for relaxation and panoramic views.

​

For added comfort, Fringilla offers a spacious fully enclosed indoor saloon area that seamlessly flows onto the back deck, creating an elegant open-plan atmosphere. This area benefits from comfortable seating, central heating and cosy blankets available on request — creating a warm and welcoming retreat for year-round cruising in any weather. A sliding sun roof is also available in this area.

Additionally Fringilla features a comfortable bathroom featuring flushing toilet & sink, a blue tooth speaker allowing client's to play music of their choice onboard & a fitted kitchen area with hot & cold running water.

Fringilla is based in Bray Marina, located a short distance from the beautiful village of Bray - famed for some of the finest eateries in the world. Fringilla is available for boat rental across the upper Thames between Marlow and Windsor. Boat hire locations include: Eton, Dorney, Maidenhead, Boulters Lock, Taplow, Cookham, Bourne End and Marlow. We also offer boat hire experiences in the Henley area during the Henley Regatta and Henley Festival periods.

A Boat for Every Occasion:

Fringilla can be hired by the hour for private boat trips or tours and is a popular option for birthday celebrations, pre-dinner cruises, anniversaries, wedding transfers, sophisticated hen parties, memorial cruises and photo shoots. Alternatively Fringilla can be enjoyed as a venue for a picnic lunch, afternoon tea cruise or simply a boat sightseeing tour in Royal Windsor.

LARUS

Step aboard Larus, a vintage 1967 Dutch Super Kaagkruiser, and enjoy a truly intimate River Thames boating experience. The smaller of our two vessels, she offers an exclusive, intimate setting for private boat cruises and special occasions.

Boat Features:

Larus features a spacious open aft sun deck, beautifully appointed in rich teak and mahogany, offering an elegant setting for outdoor relaxation and socialising. This inviting space can accommodates 8 to 10 guests. A versatile canopy provides shade in this area when desired, yet may be effortlessly retracted for sun-soaked cruising or left in place for added comfort and protection in less favourable weather.

An additional, elegantly appointed indoor seating area is located in the main saloon, this includes a dining table and seating for up to 6 passengers - a perfect space for enjoying afternoon teas and homemade picnics. Central heating is also available in this space, ensuring comfort all year around.

Larus is thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences, including a Bluetooth sound system allowing client's to play music of their choice, a flushing toilet facility, and a compact kitchenette area with hot and cold running water.

Larus is based in the beautiful village of Bray in Berkshire, just a 10 minute drive away from central Windsor. Our private moorings in Bray Marina offer easy access from Junction 8/9 of the M4 and are closely located to the Elizabeth Line's Maidenhead train station. Bray Marina also offers hassle free complimentary parking. Our vintage boat Larus is also available for private boat hire in Maidenhead, Royal Windsor, Wraysbury, Cookham, Bourne End and Marlow.

River Thames Venues & Drop Offs:

The Boat Hire Company are able to offer boat hire to many Thames side locations including: Cliveden House Hotel, The Boat House at Boulters Lock, Roux at Skindles, Dorney Rowing Lake, Amazon's Bray Film Studios, The Ferry at Cookham and GoGo's Windsor. Our boat Larus can also access smaller moorings at venues such as The River Arts Club in Maidenhead, as well as moorings at private residences. 

Boat hire in Bray is a great option if you are visiting the famous village of Bray and it's wonderful restaurants including The Fat Duck, The Hind's Head & Caldesi In Campagna - our moorings at Bray Marina are a short distance from these wonderful restaurants.
