Our beautiful vintage motor boats are perfect for a variety of different occasions, including ashes scatterings, offering the very best in boating - luxurious, private and able to operate in all weathers (offering fully enclosed indoor areas with heating, as well as open back decks for scattering the ashes). During an ashes scattering charter our discreet experienced skippers help you choose a quiet spot on the tranquil waters of the Thames, between Maidenhead and Windsor (both locations can be accessed via M4, Slough or Maidenhead junction), to conduct the ashes scattering ceremony, which can be religious or non-religious. All religions can be catered for including Hindu ashes scatterings & Sikh ashes scatterings. It is perfectly legal to scatter ashes on the Thames and no advanced permission or certification is required.

Our luxury private boats can be chartered for just 1 hour for ashes scatterings on the Thames or can be hired for a longer period if you wish to follow the ceremony with a memorial boat trip or a celebration of life with family & friends. Boat hire price includes a fully qualified skipper to navigate the river vessel. We can accommodate up to 12 guests when hiring a boat for scattering ashes.
